Dilys starting playing the harp when she was just 4 years old, followed by the violin at 6 !
She began playing harp with WSO in 1998 and the violin later in 2003
Her favourite WSO performance was Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet.
She would like to play La Boheme but this is an opera so not likely to be played by the WSO.
Liz started playing the clarinet at the age of 8.
She joined the WSO in 2008
She really enjoyed playing Rachmaninov's 2nd piano concerto.
A piece she would love to perform is Tchaikovsky's Francesca da Rimini as it is a great work that contains a very challenging clarinet part.
Robert started playing piano at the age of 10. He first played with the WSO on a celesta in Malcolm Arnold's 5th Symphony. Like other players in WSO Robert enjoyed playing The Planet's Suite by Holst. He loves Mahler's 5th Symphony that the WSO are playing in June, but it has no keyboard part so he would really like to play the Silver Rose music from Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier. This is operatic music so it may not happen!
